On August 19, 2007, Grease was the word for the third time in Broadway history. The revival opened at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre following a nation-wide search for its leading players on NBC's You're the One That I Want, throwing winners Laura Osnes and Max Crumm into the Broadway spotlight. The show, directed by Kathleen Marshall, went on to play for 554 performances.

The world premiere production of the brand new musical comedy Bullets Over Broadway, written by Woody Allen and based on the screenplay by Allen and Douglas McGrath for the 1994 film, will begin preview performances tomorrow, March 11 and officially open Thursday, April 10, 2014 at The St. James Theatre (246 West 44th Street). The new musical will be directed and choreographed by five-time Tony Award winner Susan Stroman. Today sees Seth's deconstructs Barbra Streisand's 'I'm Five.' Seth writes, 'I know it's short, but I listen to this song all the time. I love it!!'

Today sees Seth's first Barbara Cook deconstruction! Seth writes, 'My favorite soprano singing my favorite love song, 'My White Knight' from THE MUSIC MAN. The phrasing, the tone...you can't beat it!'

Seth writes 'The Sondheim orchestrations are by the brilliant Jonathan Tunick. Unfortunately, I don't know who did the pop stuff.'

Day 4 has Seth deconstructing Capathia Jenkins in FAME BECOMES ME. Seth writes ' This score is never talked about. Capathia is fantastic and so is everyone else in the cast. Marc Shaiman and Scott Whitman wrote it!'

Day 3 has Seth deconstructing Liz Callaway in BABY. Seth writes 'Here she is! GREAT song GREAT singer. I now think that the last couple of high notes are mixed...can't decide!'
