42nd Street on Stage Videos - Pittsburgh, PA (Regional)

The world premiere production of the brand new musical comedy Bullets Over Broadway, written by Woody Allen and based on the screenplay by Allen and Douglas McGrath for the 1994 film, will begin preview performances tomorrow, March 11 and officially open Thursday, April 10, 2014 at The St. James Theatre (246 West 44th Street). The new musical will be directed and choreographed by five-time Tony Award winner Susan Stroman. Signature Theatre presents The Piano Lesson by August Wilson and directed by Tony Award winner Ruben Santiago-Hudson. The production runs through December 16 and opens November 18 in The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). As we reported previously, T.V. Carpio has officially assumed the role of 'Arachne' in SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark, replacing Natalie Mendoza who departed the production last week after suffering a concussion at an early preview. Directed by Julie Taymor and featuring a book by Julie Taymor and Glen Berger, and new music and lyrics by U2's Bono and The Edge, SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark is now in previews at Broadway's Foxwoods Theatre (213 West 42nd Street). The the stars of the upcoming national tour of The Donmar Warehouse production of Frost/Nixon by Peter Morgan, met the press on Friday, September 19th at the New 42nd Street Studios. Award-winning stage and screen actor Stacy Keach takes on the role of President Richard Nixon and is joined by Alan Cox as David Frost.
