West End's BETWIXT! Extends Through September 10

On July 26, Little Shop of Horrors' original 'Audrey', Ellen Greene, returned to the stage in the West End run of Betwixt! at Trafalgar Studios. Betwixt! is a musical comedy conceived and written by Ian McFarlane. The show premiered in The King's Head Theatre London on 6 May 2008 and finished its first run on 22 June 2008. This Trafalgar Studios production will now run through SEptember 10, 2011. (more...)

Jack Klugman, three-time Emmy winner and stage star, who appeared on television in The Odd Couple and Quincy M.E., as well as has been left out of the individual tributes set for tomorrow night's 2013 Primetime Emmy Awards. TACT Announces LOVERS Talkback Tomorrow

TACT/The Actors Company Theatre (Scott Alan Evans, Cynthia Harris and Jenn Thompson, Co-Artistic Directors), the critically acclaimed and Drama Desk nominated Off-Broadway company "dedicated to presenting neglected or rarely produced plays of literary merit," has scheduled a post performance discussion with the production design team and cast of Brian Friel's Lovers, the first play of the company's 20th Anniversary Season, on Thursday, October 4th following the 7:30 p.m. performance. The designers will each share their thoughts on their concept for the show and how they collaborated with the director to bring his vision to the stage. The audience will have an opportunity to ask questions of the design team and cast. The discussion will be moderated by Scott Alan Evans, Co-Artistic Director of TACT. (more...)

'I feel pretty damn good! I'm exhausted because it's six in the morning here in LA, but it still feels pretty damn good! My phone started buzzing and I ran to my computer because I wasn't sure. People were texting me and saying 'I'm crossing my fingers to you' and stuff like that. So, I ran to my computer and because we're in this housing, first you have to enter your log in information and I couldn't get it to work. I'm like 'Why now?!' I finally got it to work and it was only after a friend sent me a text saying 'CONGRATULATIONS' that I thought 'Thank God!' I'm in tech right now so I'll spend the rest of the day in tech until midnight, but for this I'll do it!' (more...)

He played the role of Buddy Plummer in the Kennedy Center production of Follies, which went on to play Broadway's Marquis Theatre and LA's Ahmanson Theatre. West End's BETWIXT! Extends Through September 10

On July 26, Little Shop of Horrors' original 'Audrey', Ellen Greene, returned to the stage in the West End run of Betwixt! at Trafalgar Studios. Betwixt! is a musical comedy conceived and written by Ian McFarlane. The show premiered in The King's Head Theatre London on 6 May 2008 and finished its first run on 22 June 2008.
