The little OPERA theatre of ny(LOTNY) presents the New York Premiere of Benjamin Britten's opera in two acts, OWEN WINGRAVE, with libretto by Myfanwy Piper, at GK Arts Center, 29 Jay Street, Brooklyn, NY, from May 9-12, 2019, with performances Thursday through Saturday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 3pm. Obie Award winning Metropolitan Playhouse revives Icebound, the 1923 winner of the Pulitzer Prize in drama by Owen Davis. Directed by Artistic Director Alex Roe at Metropolitan Playhouse: 220 E 4th Street. Previews begin tonight, with an official opening on 9/26/14. The run will end on 10/19/2014.

The Metropolitan Playhouse, a 2011 Obie Award winner, will present a revival of The House of Mirth, by Edith Wharton and Clyde Fitch. The play now receives the first professional revival in its 1906 cutting since, directed by Alex Roe at Metropolitan's home: 220 E 4th Street.
