'Communal Spaces: a Garden Play Festival' Teams with Harvest Festival, 9/27-29

This year, "Communal Spaces: a garden play festival" will share its final weekend with the LUNGS Harvest Art Festival, a multidimensional arts festival that reflects the creative spirit of the neighborhood and the integral part that community gardens play in the culture and life of Lower East Side. Last year, Communal Spaces' play 'Don't Weep for Me, Willow Tree' was featured as part of the festival. This year, all the plays will be part of the weekend of arts events. Admission is free. It is always interesting to see a local production of the classic Tony winning musical LES MISERABLES. It is such a huge show and to perform it locally is a huge undertaking. However, if you have a wonderful cast and the fantastic direction of Jeffrey Sanzel, the production will turn out wonderfully as Theatre Three's did. (more...)

VERNON HILLS, Ill., March 6, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) CDW Corporation (Nasdaq:CDW) today announced the commencement of a public offering of 10,000,000 shares of its common stock held by the selling stockholders pursuant to a registration statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The underwriter will have a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1,500,000 shares of common stock from the selling stockholders. BWW Reviews: SSR's KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN Lacks The Heat and The Fear

A musical about imprisonment, homosexuality, fascist regimes, revolutionaries, morphine addiction and a movie star; must be Kander and Ebb because only they could pull it off so beautifully. But their "Kiss of the Spider Woman" is not often produced possibly due to its harsh themes but also that it's a very difficult show to stage and perform with its rich nuances. And while the current production at SecondStory Repertory has some wonderful performances, ultimately the choices and in some cases additions to the show made it lack the passion and danger the show needs to up the stakes of its story. SecondStory Repertory will present Kander and Ebb's rarely produced masterpiece, Kiss of the Spider Woman, a sensual musical set all at once in the brutal reality of a Latin American prison, and in the airily glamorous world of the silver screen that plays endlessly in the mind of long-time prison inmate, Luis Alberto Molina. With a book by Terrence McNally, and based on the Manuel Puig novel 'El Beso de la Mujer Araña', Kiss of the Spider Woman won the 1993 Tony Awards for Best Musical, Best Book, and Best Score. Running today, March 28 through April 13, 2014, Kiss of the Spider Woman is directed by Billie Wildrick who recently returned to Seattle after her Broadway debut in Kathy Lee Gifford's Scandalous. Each year, the New Jersey based Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation has been instrumental in the movement to promote an appreciation for contemporary dance and supporting local dance companies. Through their support, the Centenary Stage Company (CSC) will be hosting the annual Dance Fest running March 29th through April 11th. This year's Dance Fest will feature the talents of Lustig Dance Theatre, The Art of Motion Dance Theatre and moe-tion dance theater all on the Sitnik Stage in the Lackland Center and will include two free workshops open to the public. CDW Corporation Announces Redemption of Senior Subordinated Exchange Notes Due 2017

VERNON HILLS, Ill., April 9, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) CDW Corporation (Nasdaq:CDW), a leading provider of technology solutions to business, government, education and healthcare, today announced that its wholly owned subsidiaries, CDW LLC and CDW Finance Corporation (together, the 'Issuers'), have delivered a Notice of Redemption (the 'Notice') to holders of their outstanding 12.535% Senior Subordinated Exchange Notes due 2017 (the 'Notes'). The Notice called for the redemption of all the currently outstanding $42.5 million aggregate principal amount of Notes. The redemption price of the Notes is 104.178% of the principal amount redeemed, which amount is equal to $1,041.78 per $1,000 principal amount, plus accrued and unpaid interest to, but not including, the redemption date, in accordance with the provisions of the indenture governing the Notes.
