BWW Recap: Time Has Come for INTRUDERS to School ViewersBWW Recap: Time Has Come for INTRUDERS to School Viewers
by Courtney Henley - Sep 6, 2014

Ice cream, beaches, and lemonade were replaced this week by pencils, textbooks, and desks as Labor Day came and went, signaling the end of summer and the start of a new school year. Supplies were bought, backpacks were filled, and buses were ridden as kids made their way back to class. In solidarity with children nationwide, BBC America decided it's time for INTRUDERS viewers to learn a thing or two as well. Like all good teachers, though, BBC America wants viewers to constantly learn and ask questions, so for every mystery they help us solve, two new mysteries arise. We're almost at the half way mark in the series – time for midterms, if you will – and things are getting even more intense. We need to start studying if we're going to know how to put the whole puzzle together at the end. Let's begin. (more...)

Deceit, secrets, and lies. Not exactly solid building blocks for a small, tight-knit community, but somehow, the tiny town of Gracepoint manages to thrive despite this rocky foundation – or, at least, it did until Danny's murder rattled the entire village. There is one pillar, though, that has so far managed to hold strong as everyone else succumbs to suspicion and gossip: Kathy Eaton, the editor of Gracepoint's newspaper. Recently, I got the chance to speak with the crazy talented Alisen Down, who plays Kathy, about her experiences on the show, and about where Kathy stands in a town full of mystery. (more...)

by Frank Benge - Jun 30, 2014

Doing Shaw isn't for the timid, especially for modern audiences which have become expectant of a happy ending. There's a reason why "Pygmalion" remains Shaw's most popular play which has been turned into a movie, a stage musical, and a film musical. It's a classic Cinderella story, complete with slippers… in this case, though; they're thrown rather than worn. There's even a ball - well, a couple of parties, actually. The problem is…there's no Prince Charming. This fairy tale has no happy ending. (more...)
