Tickets are now on sale to the general public for the Broadway production of Private Lives at www.Telecharge.com or 212-239-6200. Kim Cattrall and Paul Gross will star on Broadway this autumn in Noël Coward's Private Lives, directed by Richard Eyre at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street). Previews begin on Sunday, November 6; opening night is Thursday, November 17. The limited engagement runs through February 5, 2012. It will play a limited run at Toronto's Royal Alexandra Theatre prior to Broadway.

This fall, Mirvish Productions brings the critically acclaimed UK production of Noel Coward's Private Lives to Toronto for a pre-Broadway run at The Royal Alexandra Theatre. Kim Cattrall leads the cast, and on May 31st it was announced that Canadian stage and screen actor Paul Gross would join her as her co-star. The New York Post reports this morning that at long last, the former Times Square Theater, which has stood vacant for nearly two decades on 42nd Street, may get a new lease on life. The 30,000 square foot space, which is located at 217 W. 42nd Street between 7th and 8th Avenues, will become what will be known as Broadway 4D, a multimedia venue which allegedly an insider describes as'a kind of Las Vegas version of Broadway past and present.'

The Chicago Shakespeare Theatre will present a new staging of Noel Coward's PRIVATE LIVES. The play, set in a hotel balcony, will presented in the round in the new staging, by acclaimed Chicago director Gary Griffin. Performances for the production will begin January 6th. The company has added new seating to its Courtyard Theatre in order to accommodate Griffin's idea, adding seats around the proscenium.
