Courtney Lewis, former Assistant Conductor, will make his New York Philharmonic subscription debut leading Jonathan Biss as soloist in Timo Andres's Piano Concerto No. 3, The Blind Banister, and Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 2; the program also includes selections from Berlioz's Romeo and Juliet and Elgar's In the South (Alassio). 

Little by Little, a nonprofit organization comprised of young performers from Broadway, TV and Dance communities is thrilled to have Miss Southeast Georgia Alyssa Beasley host De Novo on March 24th at the New York Creative Cultural Center, 7:30 p.m., in a benefit concert for Kevin TOKYO Inouye, a well-known dance choreographer who lost his home in a fire earlier this year.

An arts collective determined to make art more accessible and inclusive have unveiled two new exhibitions as part of Warrington Contemporary Arts Festival.

This summer marks another historic milestone for the annual Bard SummerScape festival. For the first time since its founding, this season's focus is on the music and culture of Italy, with seven weeks of music, opera,theater, dance, film, and cabaret keyed to the theme of the 27th Bard Music Festival, "Puccini and His World." This intensive examination of the life and times of Giacomo Puccini opens a window onto Italy's rich musical heritage from Palestrina to Menotti, by way of the most popular and successful - yet, paradoxically, frequently critically underrated - opera composer of all time. Complementing the music festival, some of the Tuscan master's most compelling compatriots provide other key SummerScape highlights. These include a rare, fully staged production of Iris, a forerunner of Madama Butterfly by Puccini's close contemporary Pietro Mascagni; the world premiere of Demolishing Everything with Amazing Speed, four newly unearthed puppet plays from leading Italian Futurist Fortunato Depero, as reimagined by Dan Hurlin;the world premiere of Fantasque, a new ballet set to the music of Respighi and Rossini by John Heginbotham and Amy Trompetter; a film series on "Puccini and the Operatic Impulse in Cinema"; and the return of Bard's authentic and sensationally popularSpiegeltent,hosted by the inimitable Mx. Justin Vivian Bond. Taking place between July 1 and August 14 in the Frank Gehry-designed Richard B. Fisher Center for the Performing Arts and other venues on Bard College's stunning Hudson River campus, SummerScape's 2016 offerings provide new opportunities to discover that, as Time Out New York puts it, "the experience of entering the Fisher Center and encountering something totally new is unforgettable and enriching." A highly profile performance at the ROH Linbury Theatre followed in October 2013 and this July sees the company return to the Peacock with an ambitious, exciting programme of five world premieres by the cream of the UK's emerging choreographic talent. With five performances at the Peacock Theatre and two at Canary Wharf's hidden gem of a theatre, Lanterns Studio Theatre, NEBT will present Tryst: Devotion and Betrayal, a varied and compelling evening performed by NEBT dancers and guest musicians with sets and costumes by rising designers.

Concert aficionados from around the country will want to mark their calendars for Music Mountain, America's oldest continuing summer chamber music festival, when it kicks off its gala 85th Anniversary Season beginning Today, June 7th! To commemorate the milestone, Music Mountain will continue their season past Labor Day - making the 85th Anniversary Season the longest running season since the 1930s! The summer will include returning chamber ensembles, first time guests and the ever-popular Today Evening Twilight Series featuring Jazz, Country, and Folk Music. Concerts are scheduled through September 14.

Mercury Summer Stock and Dana Aber present: Five Fingers Open, Two Fingers Crossed, a cabaret event to be performed on Sunday, July 14th at 5:30pm at the Regina Auditorium on the Notre Dame College Campus. The event will feature songs from new, bound-for-Broadway musicals written by up-and-coming composers and lyricists from all over the globe, including Mercury Summer Stock's own Aliyana Stewart who contributed both music and lyrics. This concert production will feature over a dozen of Mercury's favorite singers, all of whom are committed to using their uniquely talented voices to bring new work to the area of Cleveland.

Columbia University School of the Arts has announced the 2012-2013 Columbia Stages season of actors', directors' and playwrights' thesis productions at the Riverside Theatre, 3LD, the Connelly Theatre, and The Pershing Square Signature Center. Columbia Stages has expanded its season to a variety of venues throughout the City in order to provide third-year students with high-quality presentation spaces that meet the needs of their individual vision.
