The new production of Mary Chase's Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy HARVEY directed by Lindsay Posner and starring James Dreyfus as Elwood P. Dowd and Maureen Lipman as Veta Louise Simmons, will play a limited season at London's Theatre Royal Haymarket from Tuesday 17 March until Saturday 2 May, with a Gala Night on Monday 23 March. The production will first open at Birmingham Repertory Theatre on 6 February, running until 21 February, with a national press night on Tuesday 17 February. The Public Theater announced today that George Brant's spellbinding, ripped-from-the-headlines play GROUNDED, with Academy Award winner Anne Hathaway, has been added to the 2014-15 downtown season. Directed by Academy Award nominee and two-time Tony Award winner Julie Taymor, GROUNDED marks the return to the Public Theater stage for Hathaway who played Viola in the 2009 Shakespeare in the Park production of Twelfth Night. Laguna College of Art and Design (LCAD) announced that Mark and Janet Hilbert of The Hilbert Collection donated 'Evening Rendezvous' (Watercolor on Paper, 10 x 14 inches, 1960) by acclaimed California watercolorist Rex Brandt. The iconic watercolor will be part of the college's permanent collection, which also includes The Rex and Joan Irving Brandt Archives housed in the Dennis and Leslie Power Library on the college's Main Campus.
