Harvey Fierstein has written Tony nominated musicals for the past two seasons, and according to an interview with the Observer, there is a play on the way for next spring. A still-untitled new play will come to Broadway in Spring 2014. He told the Observerer: 'I wrote the role for myself, but it's an ensemble piece, a cast of nine. I would like to play it, but I think I hurt A Catered Affair by being in it. I think I threw the balance off because I was the playwright-and I actually wrote that role for Joel Grey, too. It's an ensemble so the focus should not be on my character.'

'The Book Club Play'.' This new comedy by Atlanta-native Karen Zacarias, which runs through June 23rd, hysterically explores how literature can impact readers, especially when they are being filmed by a world-famous documentary filmmaker.
