THE OTHER JOSH COHEN Opens this Weekend at Paper Mill Playhouse

Paper Mill Playhouse continues its 75th Anniversary Season with another new musical The Other Josh Cohen. The Other Josh Cohen features a book, music and lyrics by David Rossmer and Steve Rosen. Ted Sperling (Striking 12, See What I Wanna See) will direct with musical staging by Andrew Palermo. Vadim Feichtner serves as Music Director. The Other Josh Cohen will feature Steve Rosen, David Rossmer, Hannah Elless, Vadim Feichtner, Cathryn Salamone, Ken Triwush and Kate Wetherhead. The Other Josh Cohen will play the Millburn, New Jersey theater from February 19 through March 16. The official press opening night is Sunday, February 23, 2014, at 7:00pm. The Other Josh Cohen is generously supported by individuals of Paper Mill Playhouse's Raise the Curtain campaign celebrating Paper Mill Playhouse's 75th Anniversary.

Classic thriller 'Wait Until Dark,' which premiered on Broadway in 1966, will open Repertory Philippines' (Rep) 2014 theater season starting Friday, January 17 at Onstage Theatre, Greenbelt 1 in Makati City. 'Wait Until Dark' is one of the few plays penned by English playwright-screenwriter Frederick Knott, best known for his 1952 television play, 'Dial M for Murder.'

Ego Actus and Scandinavian American Theater Company (SATC) will present the US Premiere of NORWAY PLAYS: DRAMA BEYOND IBSEN. The evening features two 50-minute one act plays by contemporary Norwegian playwrights, both of whom have won the prestigious Ibsen Award: THE RETURNING by Fredrik Brattberg (directed by Henning Hegland) and MORE by Maria Tryti Vennerod (directed by Joan Kane). Previews of this limited Off-Broadway engagement begin November 9 at Theater For The New City with opening is slated for November 13.

Vital Theatre to Present ANGELINA BALLERINA, THE VERY MERRY HOLIDAY MUSICAL, 11/16-1/5

Vital Theatre Company and HIT Entertainment are pleased to announce the return of the yuletide hit, Angelina Ballerina The Very Merry Holiday Musical, to the McGinn/Cazale Theatre at 2162 Broadway from November 16th - January 5th, 2014. The show, with book and lyrics by Susan DiLallo, music by Ben Morss, and direction and choreography by Sam Viverito, is based on the famous dancing mouseling and her friends created by Katharine Holabird and illustrated by Helen Craig. Angelina and her friends will return to the Vital stage with a special 'red carpet' press opening on November 16th. Performances continue November 17 through January 5th on Selected Saturdays and Sundays at 3:30 pm.

Tanti sono i performer il cui nome svetta sulle locandine dei piu importanti spettacoli a livello internazionale: Gian Marco Schiaretti ed Emanuele Caserta nella produzione Stage Enterteinment di TARZAN attualmente in scena ad Amburgo, rispettivamente nei ruoli di Tarzan e Terk; Daniela Pobega, che da due anni a questa parte miete consensi nel ruolo di Nala nella produzione spagnola di THE LION KING; Angelo di Figlia che, prima in MAMMA MIA! e ora in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, sta conquistando il pubblico francese; Gabriella Zanchi che tra qualche giorno riprendera il ruolo di Madame de la Grande Bouche - da lei gia interpretato nella versione italiana del musical - nella suddetta produzione parigina di BEAUTY AND THE BEAST... Minnesota Opera is pleased to announce casting updates for the 2013–2014 season, which boasts three company premieres and five productions new to Minnesota audiences.
