The Maltz Jupiter Theatre is ready to shine with its 2016/17 season, Let Us Entertain You!

Provincetown Theater's new Executive Artistic Director, Tristan DiVincenzo has announced the theater's extensive 2016 season.  The year will explore a highly adventurous mix of theatre styles including: Shakespearean comedy; the side splitting farce of Oscar Wilde; the ground breaking dramatic work of Eugene O'Neill; the absurdism of Samuel Beckett and a completely re-imagined "A Christmas Carol".  

Year 2016 looks like it will be AMAZING for the venerable Midtown International Theatre Festival. The level of talent and experience this season is considerable. The subject matter stronger, more topical, and brilliantly written.

New Generation Theater Company is back at The Duplex Cabaret Theater to continue their 2016 cabaret series with 'What I Did For Love' a musical revue. The night will include musical numbers from shows such as Company, Dreamgirls, Ghost, Heathers, If/Then, Honeymoon In Vegas and more!

Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Well after Broadway orchestras begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. ?The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre, the acclaimed comedy/variety show, will return to JOE'S PUB at The Public Theater to continue the Winter/Spring 2016 season on Sunday, February 21 at 9:30 PM. The Meeting* has been called "delicious and delightfully droll" by The New York Post and "hilarious and sardonic" by The Village Voice. A story for Slate.com called the evening "so deliciously icy that it left me shivering with fear and delight." The 2014-2015 season sold out after a profile in The New York Times "Arts & Leisure" section. The February show will honor the iconic musical "Cabaret" with special guests to be announced. Tracy Stark serves as the show's Music Director.

The nonprofit AT&T Performing Arts Center announced today that individual tickets for the Dallas engagement of Roundabout Theatre Company's CABARET will go on sale Friday, February 12 at 10 a.m. where it will perform a limited two week engagement May 25 - June 5, 2016 at the Winspear Opera House in the Dallas Arts District.

Norfolk & Norwich Festival, one of the biggest arts festivals in the UK, has today announced further events for its 2016 Festival. With the full programme still to be announced, further highlights revealed today include a brand new production of William Shakespeare's The Tempest directed by Artistic Director of Norfolk & Norwich Festival William Galinsky at the Great Yarmouth Hippodrome - Britain's only surviving purpose circus building erected in 1903 and Wild Life, an extraordinary collaboration between CAMPO's Artistic Collaborator Pol Heyvaert and young singer-songwriters from across Norfolk. Wild Life developed organically from the lives of the performers, and focuses on the songs they have written and what science tells us about how teenagers' brains work. The Festival have also announced Fierce Light, the world premiere event and exhibition from 14-18 NOW bringing together poets of international standing with contemporary film makers and visual artists to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the First World War, Chris Thorpe's acclaimed plays Confirmation and Am I Dead Yet? about political extremism and what happens when we die respectively, an evening of French song and poetry with the powerful and unconventional ensemble troupe, I Fagiolini, a one-night only performance by the sensational singer-songwriter and political activist Billy Bragg and the English indie band Tindersticks.

Hennepin Theatre Trust today announced the 2016-2017 Broadway on Hennepin Season, featuring the best of Broadway with five Minnesota premieres and five returning favorites. Making their Minneapolis premieres are Fun Home, winner of five 2015 Tony Awards including Best Musical; The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, the 2015 Tony Award-winning Best Play; and Rodgers & Hammerstein's The King and I, the critically acclaimed 2015 Tony Award winner for Best Revival of a Musical.

On October 14, 2016, The New York Pops - a symphonic orchestra known for presenting popular programs of exceptional quality - will launch its 34th season at Carnegie Hall celebrating the diversity of some of popular music's greatest icons.
