Lyric Opera of Chicago announced today that Laura Osnes will star as Julie Jordan in Lyric's new production of Carousel, on stage April 11 through May 3, 2015. Osnes comes to Lyric following her Tony-nominated role in Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella on Broadway. She joins Steven Pasquale, who stars as Billy Bigelow, in this new production directed and choreographed by legendary Tony, Emmy, and Olivier Award winner Rob Ashford.

MARY TESTA -- the two time Tony Award nominated singer and actress -- and MICHAEL STAROBIN, the Tony Award winning orchestrator and arranger will perform four concerts in January to promote their new album Have Faith from Ghostlight Records.

It Shoulda Been You producers Daryl Roth, Scott Landis, Jane Bergere and Jayne Baron Sherman announced today that Tony Award nominee Montego Glover (Memphis), Josh Grisetti (Peter and the Starcatcher), Michael X. Martin (The Bridges of Madison County), Anne L. Nathan (Once), Nick Spangler (Book of Mormon) and Chip Zien (Into the Woods) will join the cast of the new musical comedy, directed by David Hyde Pierce. They join previously announced stars Tyne Daly, Harriet Harris, Sierra Boggess, David Burtka, Lisa Howard, and Edward Hibbert, forming a blissful marriage of theatrical luminaries.

Anna Chlumsky will take over for Rose Byrne in the hit Broadway revival of YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU. The two-time Emmy nominated actress will be joined by Richard Thomas, who will replace Mark Linn-Baker.

Lyric Opera of Chicago announced today that Steven Pasquale will star in the iconic role of carousel barker Billy Bigelow in Lyric's new production ofCarousel, on stage April 11 through May 3, 2015. Following his critically acclaimed performance on Broadway in The Bridges of Madison County, Pasquale will bring his “glorious voice” (VARIETY) to some of the most beloved songs in musical theater history in a new production directed and choreographed by legendary Tony, Emmy, and Olivier Award winner Rob Ashford.

Tickets for the upcoming revival of THE KING AND I at the Lincoln Center Theater go on sale to the general public today, Oct. 19.

Theatrical licensor Music Theatre International (MTI) has secured worldwide licensing rights to Broadway's Tony Award-winning musical, THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY.

Katie Brayben will play the title role in the West End production of Beautiful - The Carole King Musicalopening at the Aldwych Theatre in February next year. Alan Morrissey will play King's husband and song-writing partner Gerry Goffin, with Lorna Want as song-writer Cynthia Weil, Glynis Barber as Genie Klein, King's mother, and Gary Trainor as music publisher and producer Don Kirshner. Principal casting has been announced for the upcoming world premiere production of AN AMERICAN IN PARIS. The cast will include Robert Fairchild as Jerry Mulligan, Leanne Cope as Lise Dassin, Veanne Cox as Madame Baurel, Jill Paice as Milo Davenport, Brandon Uranowitz as Adam Hochberg, and Max Von Essen as Henri Baurel.

Lincoln Center Theater has announced that Kelli O'Hara will play Anna Leonowens, and Ken Watanabe will play the King of Siam, in its new production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's THE KING AND I, with music by Richard Rodgers and a book and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, based on the novel Anna and the King of Siam by Margaret Landon. The production, to be directed by Bartlett Sher, will begin performances Thursday, March 12, 2015, and open on Thursday, April 16, 2015, at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street).
