Internationally-renowned performer Alfie Boe returns to Broadway to star as 'Jean Valjean' in Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed new Broadway production of Claude-Michel Schonberg & Alain Boublil's Les Miserables, now in its second year at the Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street). Boe begins performances in Les Miserables tonight, September 1.

As reported yesterday, Tony Award-nominee Montego Glover and Alex Finke will join Alfie Boe, the internationally-acclaimed performer who takes over the role of Jean Valjean in Claude-Michel Schonberg & Alain Boublil's Les Miserables, on Sept 1. Glover succeeds Erika Henningsen as Fantine, while Finke (making her Broadway debut) replaces original cast member Samantha Hill. Montego Glover & Alex Finke Will Join Cast of LES MISERABLES This September!

Tony Award-nominee Montego Glover (Memphis) will assume the role of Fantine beginning Tuesday, September 1 in Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed new Broadway production of Claude-Michel Schonberg & Alain Boublil's LES MISERABLES, now in its second year at the Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street). She succeeds Erika Henningsen in the role. Glover, who also received the Drama Desk and Outer Critics' Circle Awards for her acclaimed performance in Memphis, most recently co-starred on Broadway in the musical It Shoulda Been You. Also on September 1, Alex Finke makes her Broadway debut in the role of Cosette, succeeding Samantha Hill.

Now in its second year on Broadway, this newly-reimagined production of LES MISERABLES opened on Broadway March 23, 2014.

Internationally-renowned performer Alfie Boe will return to Broadway to star as 'Jean Valjean' in Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed new Broadway production of Claude-Michel Schonberg & Alain Boublil's Les Miserables, now in its second year at the Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street). Boe begins performances in Les Miserables Tuesday, September 1. Tony Award nominee Ramin Karimloo will give his final performance as Valjean on Sunday, August 30. Boe made his Broadway debut as Rodolfo in Baz Luhrmann's acclaimed production La Boheme, for which he and his co-stars received a special Tony Award in 2003 for their performances.

Acclaimed British actor Earl Carpenter will return to the role of Javert in Cameron Mackintosh's new production of Claude-Michel Schonberg & Alain Boublil's LES MISERABLES beginning Tuesday, May 12 at Broadway's Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street). Will Swenson will give his final performance as Javert Sunday, May 10. Carpenter performed the role on Broadway last summer while Swenson was on hiatus from the production for another project.
