Broadway San Jose, A Nederlander Presentation in association with Team San Jose, has announced its 2012-2013 Season, which includes the Bay Area Premiere of the Tony Award Winning MEMPHIS! The season also includes South Bay debuts of ROCK OF AGES, Tony Award-Winning BILLY ELLIOT THE MUSICAL and GREEN DAY'S AMERICAN IDIOT. Also in the season are family favorites CATHY RIGBY as PETER PAN and BLUE MAN GROUP. Broadway San Jose's 2012-2013 Season begins October 23, 2012 at the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts.

Tennessee Performing Arts Center has announced the six Broadway titles visiting for its 2012-13 HCA/TriStar Broadway Series, plus two Broadway specials. In a presentation to season ticket holders, special guests, and press on Tuesday, President and CEO Kathleen O'Brien unveiled the new season, which will conclude in 2013 with a four-week run of the Tony Award®-winning hit Disney's The Lion King. The season includes beloved classics like Cole Porter's Anything Goes and Irving Berlin's White Christmas, the acrobatic off-Broadway smash Traces, plus new favorites Flashdance and Catch Me If You Can.

Broadway in Indianapolis announces its 2012-13 season. The season will leap into play with the 2009 Tony Award-winning Best Musical BILLY ELLIOT THE MUSICAL, an inspirational story, with music by Elton John, of one boy's journey to make his dreams come true. Two other new titles join the series: SISTER ACT, a comedy with glorious music and even greater heart, and Green Day's AMERICAN IDIOT, which has boldly taken the American musical where it's never gone before. JERSEY BOYS will be making its way back to Indianapolis after an engagement in June of 2010, telling the tale of The Four Seasons' road to stardom. Finally, this series will conclude with WEST SIDE STORY, the story of forbidden love with the legendary score by Bernstein and Sondheim.

The first ever, full-length Broadway Las Vegas season at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts features eight of Broadway's biggest hits, beginning with the world-wide phenomenon WICKED. The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts today announced casting for its production of First You Dream: The Music of Kander & Ebb in the Eisenhower Theater June 8 to July 1, 2012. The musical revue will star Heidi Blickenstaff, James Clow, Alan H. Green, Leslie Kritzer, Patina Miller, and Matthew Scott. Originally produced at Signature Theatre in Virginia and co-conceived by David Loud and Eric Schaeffer, the production features music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb, and will be directed by Eric Schaeffer. Jon Kalbfleisch will conduct the 22-piece Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra. Press opening night is Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at 7:30 p.m.

The national tour of Green Day's 'American Idiot' just opened in Los Angeles on March 14 at the Ahmanson Theatre. Original Broadway cast member Van Hughes stars as Johnny, a role in which he concluded the 'American Idiot' Broadway run, along with original Broadway cast member Joshua Kobak as St. Jimmy, Jake Epstein as Will, Scott J. Campbell as Tunny, original Broadway cast member Leslie McDonel as Heather, Gabrielle McClinton as Whatsername and Nicci Claspell as The Extraordinary Girl. The Columbus Association for the Performing Arts (CAPA) and Broadway in Columbus (BIC) today announced the 2012-13 Fifth Third Bank Broadway Series season. Four of the productions on the five-show subscription series have never before been seen in Columbus, including Irving Berlin's White Christmas, Million Dollar Quartet, Green Day's American Idiot, and War Horse, winner of five 2011 Tony Awards including Best Play. Disney's Beauty and the Beast, presented by NETworks, will also return to Columbus to kick off the new season. In addition to the five-show season package, season specials will include the return of Les Miserables and Wicked.
