The 2012 Grammy Awards are tonight, and the nominees for 'Best Musical Theater Album' were THE BOOK OF MORMON, ANYTHING GOES, and HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING.

Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma opens a brand new season with the inspiring comedy, XANADU, showing at Lyric's Plaza Theatre from January 25 through February 11, 2012.

Stephen Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along, the first New York City Center Encores! production of the season, opens tonight, February 8 at New York City Center, and features Colin Donnell, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Elizabeth Stanley, Betsy Wolfe and Adam Grupper. Merrily We Roll Along, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by George Furth, is directed by James Lapine with music direction by Rob Berman and musical staging by Dan Knechtges. Merrily just opened, and will play a two-week run through February 19, 2012.

Dawson. THE SOUND OF MUSIC will open on Friday, February 10 and perform through Sunday, February 26 at the historic Plummer Auditorium, 201 E. Chapman Ave. in Fullerton.

Chichester Festival Theatre celebrates its 50th birthday with an anniversary season that echoes and acknowledges the past while also looking to the future. Uncle Vanya was part of Chichester's very first season in 1962 and became a key part of its history and is revisited during Festival 2012. The Way of the World in 1984 has also become an emblematic production; the play will feature again this year.
