Arthur Miller's Olivier award-winning drama, tells the story of Phillip and Sylvia Gellburg, a New York couple living in Brooklyn in 1938.



Phillip, obsessed with work and his own desire to assimilate, has little time for his wife, but when Sylvia suddenly becomes paralysed after reading newspaper reports of Kristallnacht in Germany, Dr. Harry Hyman is called in. As he gets closer to the source of Sylvia's troubles, a relationship develops that could have devastating consequences on the family, and themes of guilt, personal tragedy and love start to unfold.

The Academy Invites 842 To Membership; 50% Are Women

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is extending invitations to join the organization to 842 artists and executives who have distinguished themselves by their contributions to theatrical motion pictures. The 2019 class is 50% women, 29% people of color, and represents 59 countries. Those who accept the invitations will be the only additions to the Academy's membership in 2019.

Today, Cage The Elephant releases a brand new song entitled 'Goodbye.' The song was played this morning on Zane Lowe's Beats1 show. The track follows up their recently released collaboration with Beck, 'Night Running,' the song 'House of Glass,' and their single 'Ready To Let Go.' 'Ready To Let Go' currently tops Billboard's Alternative radio chart. All four tracks appear on their forthcoming fifth studio album, Social Cues, out April 19th on RCA Records. Today, Cage The Elephant's newest single, 'Ready To Let Go,' has hit #1 at Alternative Radio in both the US and Canada. The single is from their forthcoming fifth studio album, Social Cues, out on April 19th on RCA Records. 'Ready To Let Go,' marks the band's 8th Alternative #1. The song immediately found its footing, scoring the band its best airplay chart debut in its near-decade career. Cage The Elephant has achieved more #1s at the format than any band this decade. The single is also headed into Top 15 at Active Rock and top 3 at AAA.
