Due to popular demand, New York City's legendary Magnolia Bakery has announced a return of the official cupcake of PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT THE MUSICAL in celebration of the Tony Awards.

PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT has been honored with three Best Musical award nominations from the Drama Desk, Drama League and Outer Critics Circle Award organizations. Olivier Award nominee Tony Sheldon has received a Tony Award® nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical in addition to Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle and Drama League Best Actor nominations. Academy Award winning design team Tim Chappel and Lizzy Gardiner have also been nominated for a Tony Award® for their costume design for the stage production. To celebrate PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT's 100th performance on Broadway, tonight, Friday, May 27th -- the smash hit new musical is counting down 100 'memorable' fun facts and backstage secrets leading up to the landmark performance.

Following hit productions in Australia, London and Toronto, PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT THE MUSICAL opened to critical acclaim on March 20 at the Palace Theatre (1564 Broadway). On Thursday, April 28th, Renaissance Hotels and RLife LIVE, presented a special performances by renowned DJ Mia Moretti and electric violinist Caitlin Moe and the cast of Priscilla Queen of the Desert, all as part of an exclusive gathering co-hosted by superstar Cyndi Lauper. The event, also sponsored by American Airlines with cocktails courtesy of GREY GOOSE® Vodka, included a silent auction with proceeds benefitting Cyndi Lauper's True Colors Fund in an effort to engage everyone on LGBT equality and respect, while raising awareness about LBGT youth homelessness. This special event is part of a larger Renaissance Hotels program designed to celebrate diversity and inclusion within the hospitality, travel and tourism community.

In celebration of the Royal nuptials of Prince William of Wales and Catherine Elizabeth 'Kate' Middleton at Buckingham Palace, the hosts of ABC's popular talker 'The View' will observe this special occasion with 'A Royal Wedding - The View,' a live, one-hour special edition, Friday, April 29 (11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, ET), covering all the pomp and circumstance. This marks the first time 'The View' has broadcast live on Friday since Sept. 12, 2008.
