It's the news that everyone's been waiting for! Cameron Mackintosh announced today the first four cast members of his acclaimed new production of Alain Boublil & Claude-Michel Schonberg's Tony Award-winning musical masterpiece Les Miserables, which returns to Broadway beginning Saturday, March 1 at the Imperial Theatre.

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center announced today that Wendy C. Goldberg, Artistic Director of the National Playwrights Conference (NPC), has renewed her contract to continue at the head of the center's founding program. The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center will celebrate its 50th Anniversary next summer, which will also mark Goldberg's 10th season as Artistic Director of the Playwrights Conference.

The Astoria Performing Arts Center (APAC), recipient of the 2012 Caffe Cino Fellowship Award from the Innovative Theatre Foundation, has announced their 13th season will include a world premiere play by Sandy Rustin (Rated P (for Parenthood)) THE COTTAGE, directed by Adam Dannheisser (Rock of Ages, resident director), and Rodgers and Hammerstein's ALLEGRO, directed by Artistic Director Tom Wojtunik. APAC's performance venue is located at the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 30-44 Crescent St (@30th Rd), in Astoria, Queens. THE ADDAMS FAMILY, a new musical based on the bizarre and beloved family of characters created by legendary cartoonist Charles Addams, will make its Philadelphia premiere tonight, March 19 - 24 at the Academy of Music as part of the Broadway Season, presented by The Kimmel Center and The Shubert Organization. The press opening is tonight, March 19 at 7:30 p.m.

The former Rockette has done everything from Berlin to Sondheim to Wildhorn on Bway, as well as 'Rock of Ages' and 'Chorus Line'.

Prolific actor, playwright and screenwriter Charles Busch is set to star in The Peccadillo Theater Company's upcoming staged reading of Sidney Howard's 1926 play THE SILVER CORD Monday, January 14 at 7 PM at Theatre at St. Clement's, 423 West 46 Street (between Ninth & Tenth Ave.) Under the direction of OBIE Award winner Dan Wackerman, the cast will also feature Jessie Austrian (Cymbeline), Molly Camp (The Heiress), Robert Eli (Saturn Returns), and Wesley Taylor ('Smash,' Rock of Ages).
