Based on Victor Hugo's classic novel, "Les Miserables" is an epic and uplifting story about the survival of the human spirit. The magnificent score of "Les Miserables" includes the classic songs "I Dreamed a Dream," "On My Own," "Stars," "Bring Him Home," "Do You Hear The People Sing?," "One Day More," "Empty Chairs at Empty Tables," "Master of The House" and many more.

Cameron Mackintosh's new production of Boublil and Schonberg's "Les Miserables" has music by Claude-Michel Schonberg, lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer from the original French text by Alain Boublil and Jean-Marc Natel and additional material by James Fenton. The production is directed by Laurence Connor and James Powell, designed by Matt Kinley inspired by the paintings of Victor Hugo with costumes by Andreane Neofitou and additional costumes by Christine Rowlands, lighting by Paule Constable and sound by Mick Potter.

Anne Hathaway was last associated with LES MISERABLES when she belted out her own version of 'Own My Own' at February's Oscar ceremony to past host Hugh Jackman. Now, BroadwayWorld.com's reliable sources tell us that at Jackman's pushing, she is now set to take on the role of Fantine in the eagerly anticipated film version of the epic musical.

Deadline.com reports this morning that filming for Woverine 2, the sequel to the successful X Men franchise starring Hugh Jackman, may be pushed back to the spring of 2012 due to location scouting issues. The film had been tentatively scheduled to film in Japan this fall, however weather conditions have made securing locations difficult. The operation may now move to Canada instead.

There have been some major cast changes in the legendary musical 'LES MISERABLES' at the Queen's Theatre from Thursday 23 June 2011. Caroline Sheen plays ‘Fantine', Alexia Khadime ‘Eponine', Craig Mather ‘Marius', Katy Secombe ‘Madame Thénardier', Liam Tamne ‘Enjolras' and Lisa-Anne Wood ‘Cosette'.
