Lively McCabe Entertainment Co-President Michael Barra proudly announces a slate of three new stage musicals in partnership with licensing agency Theatrical Rights Worldwide (TRW) and music powerhouse BMG. These initial three projects, all which will have premiere productions in 2020 (TBA), will feature select music from the BMG catalog, as part of their previously announced partnership with Lively McCabe.

The Broad Stage continues their collaboration with Red Hen Press for Red Hen Press: The Fool in the World on Sunday, February 10 in The Edye at The Broad Stage. Composer Sophia Serghi and writer Nancy Schoenberger combine to present a multi-art performance piece comprising original music, poetry and artwork, inspired by the imagery of the 22 cards of the Tarot's Major Arcana. This piece is presented in conversation with the narrative poetry of Judy Grahn and Brynn Saito.

Lively McCabe Entertainment has announced it has entered into a new agreement with BMG. The deal grants the production company, recently launched by producer Michael Barra, access to BMG's vast music publishing catalogue to develop new multimedia entertainment projects across various platforms including the live stage, as well as films, television, and digital media.

This year, a living legend of musical theatre turns 90: Lyricist-bookwriter Tom Jones (who also, under a stage name) appeared in the original company of his most famous and wildly successful record-breaking musical, The Fantasticks. His collaborator, composer Harvey Schmidt, just recently passed away. The production's record-breaking run closed, on January 13, 2002, after 17,162 performances. Their shows also include 110 in the Shade, I Do! I Do!, Philemon, Celebration and many more. And celebration is what it's about when Broadway veterans Carole Demas, who originated the role of Sandy in Grease, and Sarah Rice, who originated the role of Johanna in Sweeney Todd, return to celebrate Jones & Schmidt. Demas and Rice have based the show on their 50 years of work and personal relationships with Tom and Harvey. With very special guest Broadway's Hal Robinson who is also a Fantasticks alumni.

Chance Theater, Anaheim's official resident theater company, is delighted to present an encore presentation of Fancy Nancy, The Musical as part of its fourth TYA Family Season. Ubisoft announced today its first foray in to live entertainment experience with a pilot tour of JUST DANCE LIVE, an immersive and interactive experience, based on the #1 music video game franchise of all time. The tour will play locally at Aon Grand Ballroom at Navy Pier in Chicago (March 15-18).

Los Angeles LGBT Center's Lily Tomlin/Jane Wagner Cultural Arts Center and StandOut Productions have announced the world premiere screening and dvd release party for the comedy film DragTastic NYC, produced and directed by Andrea Meyerson. Tenri Cultural Institute presents the world premiere of Emily Bront Through Life and Death, A Chainless Soul, a poetic mono-opera in one act based on selected poems of Emily Bront by composer Akemi Naito on Friday, January 5th and Saturday, January 6th at 8pm. Honoring the 200th Anniversary of the birth of Emily Bront in 2018, this mono-opera is a collaborative work with mezzo-soprano Jessica Bowers, pianist Marilyn Nonken, actor Robert Ian Mackenzie, and visual artist Toshihiro Sakuma, whose Healing exhibition will be on view.
