Transport Group, the winner of a special 2007 Drama Desk Award and a 2007 Obie Award, has announced its 2008-09 season: Bury the Dead, written by Irwin Shaw and directed by Joe Calarco, and Being Audrey, music and lyrics by Ellen Weiss, book by James Hindman, additional book and lyrics by Cheryl Stern, developed with Jack Cummings III and Adam R. Perlman, and directed by Jack Cummings III.

The newly formed Havok Theatre Company in association with the Bootleg Theatre is thrilled to present its third production, the Los Angeles Intimate Theatre Premiere of KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN, book by Terrence McNally, Music by John Kander, Lyrics by Fred Ebb, choreography by Lee Martino, with musical direction by Michael Paternostro and directed by Ovation Award-winner and Artistic Director of the new Havok Theatre Company Nick DeGruccio.

American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) has announced casting and the design team for its upcoming production of Virginia Woolf's Orlando, adapted by Sarah Ruhl. The play, directed by A.C.T. alumnus and incoming managing director of the Marin Theatre Company Ryan Rilette, will be performed by members of the A.C.T. Master of Fine Arts Program class of 2008 and will play at Zeum Theater February 28 through March 15.

Arena Stage will present the Pulitzer Prize-winning masterpiece Death of a Salesman and A View from the Bridge in rotating repertory as a salute to one of America's best playwrights, Arthur Miller.

The Lerner and Loewe 1951 hit Broadway musical, Paint Your Wagon, will be launched by co-producers Christopher Allen, D. Constantine Conte (48 Hours, Persido), and Larry Spellman (Say Goodnight Gracie), for a cross-country tour to open on Broadway followed by a London production starting with Utah's Pioneer Theatre Company September 28 thru October 13, 2007.
