NBC Sports presents daily live coverage of the Royal Meeting in Ascot, Berkshire, England – one of the most prestigious horse racing meets in the world – beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, June 19, at 8:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN. Daily telecasts of the full five-day Royal meeting will air on NBCSN through Friday, June 22, and the event culminates with the first-ever NBC broadcast of the race this Saturday, June 23, at 9 a.m. ET. In total, NBC Sports Group will present 22 hours of coverage over the five days.

July brings three Prime Original series exclusively available for Prime members to stream or download at no additional cost to their membership.

On May 6th, 1882 – on the eve of the greatest wave of immigration in American history – President Chester A. Arthur signed into law a unique piece of federal legislation.  Called the Chinese Exclusion Act, it singled out by name and race a single nationality for special treatment: making it illegal for Chinese laborers to enter America on pain of imprisonment and for Chinese nationals ever to become citizens of the United States.

With the “Run for the Roses” one month from today, NBC Sports Group continues its coverage this weekend as horses aim to qualify for the Kentucky Derby. NBCSN presents live horse racing this Saturday, April 7, at 5:30 p.m. ET, with coverage of the Wood Memorial, Blue Grass Stakes, and Santa Anita Derby. The winner of each race receives 100 points, enough to guarantee a spot in the starting gate for the Kentucky Derby, Saturday, May 5 on NBC.

CBS Melbourne has confirmed its status as a home for outstanding theatre, with producers Rodney Rigby and Junkyard Dog Productions today confirming that the city will host the exclusive Australian premiere of acclaimed Broadway musical COME FROM AWAY.

Artistic Director Tiffany Rea-Fisher, who succeeded founder Elisa Monte in 2016, will present her newest work The Best-Self Project, a full-length premiere on March 16. Rea-Fisher has also curated a mixed-bill program on March 17 that will showcase a collection of new and restaged works featuring celebrated icons Tony Danza, Clifton Brown, Ayodele Casel, and more. 

Victory Gardens Theater introduces Public Programs to Envision Justice through the Lens of Theater, a new initiative made possible by a grant from The David Rockefeller Fund. Public Programs is an event series designed to enhance audience experience by exploring themes and issues within Victory Gardens' productions by provoking dialogue and deepening the relationship between audiences and the plays. Public Programs to Envision Justice takes Victory Gardens one step further by building a stream of citizen engagement programs that will contextualize the plays in relation to the issues surrounding criminal justice and lead audiences to understanding their role in affecting change.
