The New York Post's Cindy Adams is reporting that Roseanne Barr might be headed to Broadway. 'That is, I could be coming to Broadway. I sure want to' told the star to the gossip columnist. Theatre Communications Group (TCG), the national organization for professional, not-for-profit theatre announces its 2009 conference: Roots. Renaissance. Revolution. From June 4-6, 2009, the theatre community will come together in Baltimore to investigate how generational perspectives affect the entire field, including the choice of plays produced, the atmosphere created in workplaces, the appeal of various leadership styles, and the processes used to identify, attract and retain audiences.

The world premiere of The Boys in the Photograph, the latest musical collaboration between Andrew Lloyd Webber and Ben Elton will take place at the Manitoba Theatre Centre in Winnipeg from April 25 to May 23, 2009. The David Mirvish co-production will then move to the Canon Theatre in Toronto in June 2009.

Co-Produced by the Triad and Lee Summers, Still Standing, will feature standards, pop, R&B and Broadway. Ms. Moore began her career in the ground breaking musical 'Hair,' where she originated the role of Dionne. During her 18 months in the show, she eventually replaced Dianne Keaton; becoming the first black actress to replace a white actress is a lead role on Broadway.
