Riverside Theatre's 2014-2015 season continues with the award-winning play, Underneath The Lintel. This compelling adventure by Glen Berger is funny, touching and surprising and performs on the Waxlax Stage from January 27 through February 8, 2015. American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) Artistic Director Carey Perloff announced today that Beatrice Basso has been named as A.C.T.'s first Director of New Work. Furthering A.C.T.'s mission to provide innovative programming that enriches, educates, and engages with the community, Basso-in her new role-will focus on new work development, season planning, and the commissioning process for all of A.C.T.'s performance spaces: The Geary Theater, The Costume Shop Theater and the soon-to-be-opened Strand Theater.

Juilliard's Drama Division announces the 2013-2014 season of fully-staged productions featuring Juilliard's 43rd group of acting students in their fourth and final year in the drama program at Juilliard. This season's plays include Jeffrey Hatcher's Smash, directed by Victor Pappas; Amy Herzog's The Great God Pan, directed by Maria Mileaf; and Sam Shepard's Buried Child, directed by Daniel Fish. All performances take place in the Stephanie P. McClelland Drama Theater at Juilliard.

Thatcher most recently appeared as Terri in Jeffrey Sweet's new play Immoral Imperatives. Prior to that, she appeared in First Folio Theatre's production of Macbeth. Other credits include "Hannah Jarvis" in Tom Stoppard's Arcadia at the Goodman Theatre, "Candida" in George Bernard Shaw's Candida at Writers' Theatre, and "Regan" in King Lear and "Kate" in Taming of the Shrew at Chicago Shakespeare Theater.
