DANCERS OVER 40 Celebrates a Wonderful Year, with an extra special Spring Fling on Sunday, May 18th, from 7:00 -10:00 pm at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater Studios, 405 West 55th Street (at 9th Avenue). There will be wine, food and music, and some of the DO40 members will perform numbers from some of the past panels -- the 'Women of Fosse' (The Manson Trio from 'Pippin'), the 'Men of Fosse' (George Marcy performing from 'Damn Yankees') and the 'Dancers and Creative Talents of Gower Champion' (Richard Skipper) as Carol Channing!performing from 'Hello, Dolly!'.
Dsiney's endearing family musical adapts well to the small dinner theater stage. With solid production values and some terriffic performances, the show is a crowd-pleaser.
