This November, Kansas City Public Theatre (KCPublic) will present an immersive experience, THE MADESS OF LADY BRIGHT, a dragedy by Lanford Wilson.

The heart of NYC's theatre district will be filled with Broadway stars, fans and unmissable theatrical treasures this Sunday, September 30, 2018, for the 32nd Annual Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction, produced by and benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

This career spanning retrospective box marks the first time that all five of the band's albums for Geffen/Mute have been collected in one complete box set. The box set features expanded double black vinyl of each album (10 vinyl LPs in all), with several bonus tracks and hard to find 12' mixes - all carefully curated and remastered by Pylon Records. The original artwork has also been expanded into gatefold sleeves, with embossing and spot UV finish. It also contains a large size booklet with liner notes by the band's co-founders Douglas McCarthy and Bon Harris, along with unseen photos, flyers and artwork, detailing their entire career in chronological order from Essex to Los Angeles. These albums have been out-of-print since the early '90s and have never been reissued prior to this.

Producer David Binder just announced today that Golden Globe Award Winner and Emmy Award Nominee Keri Russell will join three-time Emmy Award nominee Adam Driver in the first revival of Pulitzer Prize Winner Lanford Wilson's BURN THIS. Directed by Tony Award winner Michael Mayer, BURN THIS will begin performances in March 2019 at a Broadway theater to be announced.

BURN THIS is a riveting play about the bloom of love rooted in tragedy. We find ourselves exploring an insular group of friends, mourning the loss of one of their own. The weaving tale between Anna, Burton, and Larry only gets more skewed throughout the play when Robbie's brother shows up at their doorstep. Will love and friendship prevail over loss. Or will sadness, bitterness and anger overwhelm them all?

Thirteen year old Ajibola Tajudeen, better known as Keeme, is the host of New Paradigm Theatre's brand new web series debuting here on BroadwayWorld. 'Konversations with Keeme' is show where Keeme interviews seasoned television and film professionals like Tamara Tunie of Law and Order: Special Victims Unit and Renee Lawless of Tyler Perry's The Have and the Have Nots, as well as Broadway veterans such as Emmy and Grammy winner, Paul Bogaev, Emmy-nominated Scott Bryce, and Broadway pros Christine Dwyer, Kelly Grant, Juwan Crawley and more.

The Film Society of Lincoln Center and Subway Cinema announce the 17th edition of the New York Asian Film Festival (NYAFF), June 29 – July 15, 2018.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, David Mamet has written a play about the sexual assault scandal surrounding Harvey Weinstein. Shakespeare Theatre Company today announces the cast of Lerner and Loewe's multiple Tony Award-winning musical Camelot. Whether it be platonic or romantic, everyone has been in a relationship with someone who makes no sense for them, or is unhealthy for them, or both. But at the time, it satisfied a need. It's a very specific kind of relationship that, if handled poorly by the director or the actors, will be glaringly unconvincing, given how wrong the two people are for each other. However, through Corey McDaniel's pristine direction and such a talented cast, Theatre22's Burn This is an example of high-caliber theatre. There are no gimmicks, there's no fuss, even the music is stripped down to a single saxophone played between scenes. If you're looking for quality, Burn This will provide (now at 12th Ave Arts).
