Park City Institute Closes Summer Concert Series With NASHVILLE CAFE

Park City Institute will close out the 2018 St. Regis Big Stars, Bright Nights Concert Series, Sunday September 2, with Nashville Cafe, an evening of country music, completing the concert series' season at City Park. The show will feature music performed by three stars of CMT's hit musical drama series Nashville, Chris Carmack, Chip Esten and Sam Palladio. The show begins at 6:00 P.M., and gates open at 4:30 P.M.

As has become the norm with the Mostly Mozart Festival in recent years, the Monday, July 30th Emerson String Quartet concert at Alice Tully Hall included some unusual programming choices. Aided and abetted by guest violist Ms. Nokuthula Ngwenyama, the quartet became a quintet and presented a fascinating program of less familiar works by some very familiar composers to the sold-out house.

Park City Institute announced the addition of singer and musician Sam Palladio, to the 2018 St. Regis Big Stars, Bright Nights Concert Series' Labor Day weekend show, Nashville Cafe. Palladio completes a lineup with his co-stars from the CMT hit series, "Nashville," Chris Carmack and Chip Esten. The performance will be held at Quinn's Junction Sports Complex Fields. The evening will include a mix of solo and collaborative sets.

Park City Institute Executive Director Teri Orr, announced the approval of two outdoor venues for the 2018 St. Regis Big Stars, Bright Nights Concert Series, by Park City City Council. All performances will be held at Quinn's Junction Sports Complex Fields, with the exception of Grace Potter, slated to perform her July 13 show at City Park. Gates will open at 4:30 P.M., and the concerts will begin at 6:00 P.M.
