Scarborough's Stephen Joseph Theatre company is preparing to spend a month in New York this spring. The company is taking one of last summer season's hit shows, Alan Ayckbourn's A Brief History of Women, to the city to be part of the annual Brits Off Broadway festival organised by 59e59 Theaters. The show will be seen at the theatre - which is located at 59 East 59th Street - from 1 to 27 May.

Mosaic Theater Company of DCtakes its acclaimedVoices From a Changing Middle East Festival on tour this winter, bringing several of its seminal Festival productions (I SHALL NOT HATE, VIA DOLOROSA, and the recent film adaptation of WRESTLING JERUSALEM) to the University of Oklahoma, Grinnell College, and Eastern Mennonite University for presentations of each project, and culminating in a special evening at the University of Chicago's Logan Center for the Arts where excerpts from all three works will be shared in a single evening. The tour reflects different dimensions of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and the efforts to achieve reckoning and reconciliation through live performance and discussion, in works performed in English, Arabic, and Hebrew (with translated surtitles).

Performance Space New York (formerly Performance Space 122) presents the East Village Series, its first semi-annual themed series, and the first program curated by the institution's new Executive Artistic Director, Jenny Schlenzka. This presentation of works from some of today's most radical performers and multidisciplinary artists resituates the institution in newly revamped spaces, designed by Deborah Berke Partners, in 122 Community Center (150 First Avenue, at East 9th Street), where Performance Space 122 was founded, and where it operated until it moved out in 2011 for the building renovation. The series contemplates the past, present, and future of the organization and its neighborhood.

2017 Regional Theatre Tony Award Recipient Dallas Theater Center (DTC), in association with the Theatre Division of Meadows School of the Arts at Southern Methodist University (SMU), presents Frankenstein at the Kalita Humphreys Theater. Directed by DTC's Associate Artistic Director Joel Ferrell, Frankenstein begins on Feb. 2 and runs through March 4. New York Film Critics Series (NYFCS) in a special partnership with New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) will present a unique movie experience celebrating the 40th Anniversary of National Lampoon's Animal House on Friday February 16th, 2018 at 8pm. The iconic Animal House movie starring John Belushi, Tim Matheson , Peter Riegert, Karen Allen, Thomas Hulce, Stephen Furst, and Donald Sutherland which is a direct spin-off from National Lampoon about a misfit group of fraternity members who challenge the authority of the dean of Faber College.

Ehrenkranz Artistic Director Jane Moss today announced Lincoln Center's 2017 White Light Festival, which runs from October 18 through November 15. With more than 35 events presented in 13 venues throughout the city, including U.S. and New York premieres and nine commissions, the eighth annual international festival will explore transcendence, interior illumination, and faith in the human spirit, as exhibited through artistic expression across continents and centuries. The multidisciplinary festival takes its name from a quotation by Estonian composer Arvo Part: "Icouldcomparemymusic to white light, which contains all colors. Only a prism can divide the colors and make them appear; this prism could be the spirit of the listener."
