By popular demand, the one-night-only special event concert and album signing, featuring original cast members of the Off-Broadway hit, The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical, has announced a second show on Monday, August 28 at 9:30PM at The Green Room 42, hosted by composer and lyricist Rob Rokicki.

'It's all in the way she placed her voice. I like to call it the Kermit the Frog place - the soft palate at the back of the throat, and that's what activates the yodel, the catch, the cry, the growl which are the iconic hallmarks of her singing. Patsy Cline wasn't really a technical singer; this all just came naturally to her, but for me as an actress and technical singer who has to do the show eight times a week, I have to make sure I am singing in a healthy, safe way and understand how to make that happen. One of the city's oldest, continuously operating theater companies, La MaMa, celebrated the conclusion of its 55th season, and announced the $15 million renovation of its New York City landmark building at 74 East 4th Street in Manhattan with "Dancing in The Street", a BLOCK PARTY on Saturday, May 20th from 11AM to 4PM. A new season of The History of the World in 100 Performances with Adam Gopnik begins on Monday, April 3, at the David Rubenstein Atrium, with a look at the career of the great American soprano Leontyne Price. Joining Gopnik are internationally renowned soprano Renee Fleming and rising soprano Julia Bullock. Interspersed with audio and video clips, they will discuss Ms. Price's extraordinary career and the significance of the pioneering African-American soprano's role on the world's stages. Ms. Bullock will also sing several of Ms. Price's signature arias. The entire evening will be streamed on Facebook Live on Lincoln Center's Facebook Page.
