Recapturing the glamour of New York's swank hotspots like The Copacabana and The Blue Angel, Purl invokes the smoky, after-hours world of the 1940s and 50s. ABC (7.7 million) qualified as the No. 2 most-watched network overall for the 2nd consecutive week (w/o 10/01/12), topping an NFL-driven NBC (+3% - 7.5 million) and Fox (+45% - 5.3 million). And despite the pre-emption of 'Modern Family' for the Presidential Debate on Wednesday, ABC paced within 2-tenths of a rating point for the week's lead among Adults 18-49 in Nielsen's non-sports averages (ABC=2.04, Fox=2.17, NBC=2.22 and CBS=2.22). In an exclusive four-week run, Ms. Buckley premieres her new collection of songs "The Other Women: The Vixens of Broadway." She will perform highlights from some of Broadway's most popular shows, but will celebrate the second female leads, who have introduced classics like "When You're Good to Mama" (Chicago), Another Suitcase In Another Hall (Evita), "I Know Things Now (Into the Woods), "Ribbons Down My Back" (Hello, Dolly!), "Whatever Lola Wants" (Damn Yankees) and "The Miller's Son" (A Little Night Music).
