Ari Roth and Epic Theatre Ensemble Present Staged Reading of BORN GUILTY CYCLE

On Sunday, October 17 at 2:30 p.m., the Epic Theatre Ensemble will present a staged reading of a new version of Ari Roth's acclaimed Born Guilty Cycle at the Museum of Jewish Heritage - A Living Memorial to the Holocaust. Blanka Zizka will direct the monumental three and one-half hour reading which will feature Rick Foucheux. Following the performance, Roth, Peter Sichrovsky, and other special guests will take part in a Q&A.

Award-winning Broadway actresses Liz Callaway and Karen Mason have announced that they will join the lineup for 'Free to Dream', an evening devoted to the songs of Katsaros and Schermerhorn, August 2 at Joe's Pub. The program, which will have two performances at 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM, showcases the people and places that make up the fabric of America; from country, rock and pop, to swing and the blues. Previously announced artists include Rent star Anthony Rapp and Avenue Q's John Tartaglia and Stephanie D'Abruzzo. Proceeds from Free to Dream benefit The New York Pops' education programs, which bring music to thousands of public schoolchildren across the five boroughs of New York City. The evening will be hosted by The New York Pops Music Director Steven Reineke, and will feature the Camp Broadway Kids, as well as the voice of Willard Scott as ‘DJ Sam'.

Nicola and Managing Director William Russo, have announced that Lillian Hellman's The Little Foxes, starring Elizabeth Marvel and directed by Ivo Van Hove and a new musical by 'South Park' creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone and Avenue Q composer/lyricist Robert Lopez will kick off the theatre's 2010-2011 season. The 2009-2010 season will conclude with Top Secret: The Battle for the Pentagon Papers, written by Geoffrey Cowan and Leroy Aarons, and directed by John Rubinstein, and Restoration, a new play written by and starring Claudia Shear and directed by Christopher Ashley.
