Mortimer Brewster is a reasonably normal man with reasonably normal aspirations, which are all turned upside down in a single day by the sudden revelation of his sweet-hearted old aunts' penchant for poisoning old homeless men and by the unexpected return of his long-lost psychopathic brother with a mind for revenge. Just in time for Halloween, Throughline Theatre Company presents Arsenic and Old Lace, by Joseph Kesselring October 26th at the Grey Box Theatre on Butler St. in Lawrenceville.

This gut-wrenching drama is set in the notorious "Murder Mile" section of London's East End. ELMINA'S KITCHEN examines the bitter clash of values between three generations of black men and its effect on their family and community. The play runs tonight, August 11 through September 9. Sundance Institute today announced the acting company and creative advisors for the eight projects being developed at its 2012 Theatre Lab, July 9-29 at the Sundance Resort.
