The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Andrew D. Hamingson) will launch an online auction at 12 PM on Monday, June 22 in support of The Public Theater's annual gala on Thursday, June 25 for the opening of Twelfth Night. The auction will feature once-in-a-lifetime experiences with Anne Hathaway, Audra McDonald, Julie White, Jonathan Groff and the cast of the Tony Award-winning Hair. The auction closes on Monday, June 29.

Presented at the theater company's home at 416 West 42nd Street, the new production will be: A COOL DIP IN THE BARREN SAHARAN CRICK - the World Premiere of a new play by Playwrights Horizons alumna Kia Corthron (Breath, Boom at Playwrights Horizons, Force Continuum), directed by Obie Award winner Chay Yew (Durango at The Public). A Season 4 veteran of American Idol, Maroulis is the first contestant from the hit FOX series to earn such a prestigious distinction.
