Transport Group (TG), the winner of a special 2007 Drama Desk Award and 2007 and 2010 OBIE Awards, has announced that its production of the New York premiere of See Rock City & Other Destinations, music by Brad Alexander; book and lyrics by Adam Mathias; directed by Artistic Director Jack Cummings III, will extend one week through Saturday, August 14 at The Duke on 42nd Street, a New 42nd Street® project, 229 West 42nd Street.

Theatre Ventures in association with Unique Features announced today that the new Broadway musical ELF will star Tony® Award winner Beth Leavel (Emily), Tony® Award nominee Mark Jacoby (Walter), Matthew Gumley (Michael), Valerie Wright (Deb), Michael McCormick (Mr. Greenway), Michael Mandell (Store Manager) and six-time Emmy® Award winner George Wendt (Santa). Wreghitt (The Miracle Worker, Grey Gardens, Lieutenant of Inishmore) and Jana Robbins (Ragtime, Little Women - The Musical) have announced that they will bring The Great Game, a new drama/play by D. Tucker Smith, to Broadway in the 2011-2012 season. Tony nominated director Sheryl Kaller (Next Fall, Adrift in Macao) will direct the production. Casting for the 60th Music Circus season is nearing completion. After auditioning performers in New York, Los Angeles and Sacramento, California Musical Theatre Artistic Director Glenn Casale is finalizing the acting company for the seven-show season at the Wells Fargo Pavilion. The company is expected to include Broadway veterans, including Tony Award nominees, television comedians, up-and-coming young actors and plenty of returning Music Circus favorites. New Repertory Theatre, in residence at the Arsenal Center for the Arts, is thrilled to present Hot Mikado, book and lyrics adapted by David H. Bell with musical adaptation and arrangements by Rob Bowman. Hot Mikado opens for the press on Monday, May 3, 2010 at 7:30pm and plays through Saturday, May 22, 2010 at the Arsenal Center for the Arts in the Charles Mosesian Theater.
