Due to popular demand, Pioneer Theatre Company has added an extra matinee performance of Les Miserables on Wednesday, May 29, 2013. The performance takes place at2:00 p.m. Tickets for the extra performance go on sale Monday, May 13, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. via the internet at www.pioneertheatre.org and via the Box Office in person or at 801-581-6961. Tickets for all other performances may also still be purchased. Half-priced tickets for children in grades K-12 are available for the May 29 matinee performance, and for all of the remaining Monday and Tuesday evening performances.

PTC was the first regional theatre to produce Les Mis, in 2007, where it played for 10 sold-out weeks. The Utah Shakespeare Festival recently announced the addition of five new members to its board of governors: D. Matthew Moscon, Wayne L. Niederhauser, Ed Golembiewski, Ann Crocker, and Ken Adelman.
