Ballet Memphis will reprise Steven McMahon’s interpretation of the Charles Perrault fairy tale as the season’s last mainstage show. The company debuted the work–featuring the famous score by Sergei Prokofiev as well as sets from the London City Ballet –during the 2008-09 season.

The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre, the Frederick area's only year-round professional producing theatre, has announced its 2016 Season. Producers for the theatre are excited to bring the line-up of shows to the theatre because it will mark an expansion of Way Off Broadway's Mainstage season. Since 2004, the theatre located in the Willowtree Plaza off of Route 40 West in Frederick has produced five Mainstage shows each season. The 2016 Season will mark the beginning of a six show season for Way Off Broadway. In addition, all six shows will be first-time productions for Way Off Broadway, never having been staged by the theatre before.
On Sunday, September 20th, noted dance company, New York Theatre Ballet will present their children's ballet, CINDERELLA. With a Dancing Clock, wacky Stepsisters and everyone's favorite princess, CINDERELLA features choreography by Donald Mahler, costumes by Metropolitan Opera's Resident Costume Designer, Sylvia Taalsohn Nolan and sets by Gillian Bradshaw Smith. The classic score by Sergei Prokofiev is abridged for a one-hour presentation.

Shaw's romantic comedy, which continues the Globe's 80th Anniversary festivities as part of the Balboa Park Centennial Celebration, will run May 9 - June 14, 2015 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run May 9 through 13. Opening night is Thursday, May 14 at 8:00 p.m.
