Carole A. Feuerman's work will be presented in several different locations during the Art Fairs in Miami December 2016. Feuerman is credited with starting the Hyper-realist movement in the late 1970's.Known for her sculptures of the swimmers, Feuerman is the only figurative artist to realistically paint bronze figures so real that you would mistake them for live people, and to install them in monumental size in public locations throughout the world.

Margaret Leveson's exhibition, "Waterways" will be held at Blue Mountain Gallery from November 1 to November 26. It will be her 19th solo exhibition. Leveson is primarily a landscape painter, painting on site whenever possible. There are many recurrent themes in her work, important amongst them that of water, the focus of the present exhibition.

Beginning October 28, 2016, Dominique Le?vy will present Joel Shapiro, the first survey exhibition of early wood wall reliefs by renowned American sculptor Joel Shapiro. Created between 1978 and 1980, these colorful small-scale works will be complemented by a major new site-specific installation work by the artist. The exhibition aims to illuminate the trajectory of Shapiro's career, revealing a decades-long exploration of color and mass that has culminated in his recent body of room-size sculptural installations.

Curated by Thierry de Duve, Evelyn Kranes Kossak Professor of Art History, Nahum Tevet: Works on Glass, 1972-1975 presents an important and under-recognized series from the artist's oeuvre. This exhibition will provide a critical examination of this series in relationship with the broader art historical context of global conceptualism and minimalism dominant in the late 1960s and 1970s. Tevet's works on glass are both unique and perfectly in tune with the experiments conducted internationally by the most advanced artists of their time. They are radically modernist in every sense: uncompromising, experimental, and taking their own conventions as their subject matter.

An exhibition of works by Haile King Rubie, a 26-year-old Harlem artist with Down Syndrome, will inaugurate the Clara Francis Gallery, a new Harlem art spot, July 27 to August 17, 2016. The exhibition, 'Haile King Rubie: Speaking Colors,' is primarily drawn from Rubie's 'art waves' of 2013 and 2015 and features contemplations of his otherwise inaccessible inner world. The new gallery space, located at 2070 Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd., is a welcome addition to Harlem's art district.

Commissioned text by Emma Stanton is fused with interwoven narratives of movement, music, group choreography and funerary rites that investigate the fatigue of hope in the face of profound grief. Directed by Co-Artistic Director Kendra Miller with movement by Co-Artistic Director Thom Pasculli, THE CURE will play June 1 - 18, 2016 at The Sidney R. Yates Gallery at the Chicago Cultural Center, 78 E. Washington St. in Chicago. All performances are free to the public. Advance reservations can be made at walkabouttheater.org/the-cure.
