It's (Almost) Showtime! BEETLEJUICE Musical Will Get Developmental Lab This Fall

Say his name three times and he might just arrive on Broadway!Now according to an Equity casting notice, the show will get a developmental lab in September. The musical features music and lyrics by Eddie Perfect and a book by Anthony King & Scott Brown. Timbers remains on board for the project. Connor Gallagher will join the creative team as choreographer.

Olivier Award-winning director, Robert Icke's (Mary Stuart, The Red Barn, Uncle Vanya, Oresteia, Mr Burns and 1984), ground-breaking and electrifying production of William Shakespeare's Hamlet, starring BAFTA award-winner Andrew Scott (Moriarty in BBC's Sherlock, Denial, Spectre, Design For Living and Cock) in the title role, will transfer to the Harold Pinter Theatre, following a critically acclaimed and sell out run at the Almeida Theatre.

Strawdog Theatre Company is proud to announce the third and final production in its 2016 - 2017 season, Rebecca Lenkiewicz's The Night Season, May 12  - June 24, directed by Elly Green, at The Factory Theater, 1623 W. Howard. The performance schedule is Thursdays - Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 4 p.m. Previews are May 12 - 13, 18 - 19 at 8 p.m., May 14 and 21 at 4 p.m. The press opening is Monday, May 22 at 8 p.m. with a Board Night Saturday, May 20 at 8 p.m. with an open bar and appetizers. All performances have ground level access and are wheelchair accessible, with a special Access Project performance Sunday, June 4 at 4 p.m. with a touch tour at 2:45 p.m.* An industry performance is on Monday, June 5 at 8 p.m for $18.
