Due to a scheduling conflict, Patti LuPone's 'COULDA SHOULDA WOULDA' concert, scheduled for September 27, 2015 at Olympia's Washington Center, has been cancelled.

According to The Olympian, center's Executive Director Jill Barnes issued the following statement: "An unforeseen conflict with her TV filming schedule for the Showtime series 'Penny Dreadful' has made it impossible for Ms. LuPone to travel to the Northwest in September. The Tony and Grammy-winning actress is one of several to join the gothic horror series."

The stage legend will play a mysterious character of great importance in Vanessa's (Eva Green) past as part of the drama series' second season. LuPone is currently starring in Douglas Carter Beane's new comedy SHOWS FOR DAYS at Lincoln Center.

'COULDA SHOULDA WOULDA' was billed as an evening of intimate stories and tunes, featuring songs from musicals in which LuPone could have played, should have played, did play and will play.

Barnes added, "Scheduling changes are rare, but also a reality. We worked diligently with her agent and the other presenters in the Northwest that had booked Ms. LuPone to find a mutually agreeable date, but we were not able to find one...We will keep our fingers crossed that we will have another opportunity in the future to bring Ms. LuPone to Olympia."

Patrons can either take a gift certificate for future ticket purchases, receive a full refund, or make a tax deductible donation to the center. For questions, contact the Box Office at 360-753-8586.
