The Teachers' Weekend - September 10 & 11 - is designed to give educators an up close and personal look into the PCPA Conservatory. They will see the immersive mentor-apprentice method of conservatory training in a professional environment. Teachers will spend two days working with professional actors in workshops and observing classes and then attend PCPA's productions of In The Heights, Gidion's Knot, and Trying. A certificate of completion will be provided for participants and upper division units are available for those interested.

Space is limited to 25. Register by contacting Erik Stein at casting@pcpa.org, or call (805) 928-7731 ext. 4119. The registration fee is $100.00 and includes tickets to three PCPA performances, two workshops, observing - and participating if you choose - two acting conservatory classes. Also, tours of the shops, warehouse, classrooms and labs, two continental breakfasts and a game of "Stump the Technician" to help find solutions to budgetary and technical challenges.

Registration deadline is Friday, September 2.
