TUNA DOES VEGAS, DAME EDNA LIVE: MY FIRST LAST TOUR, And WICKED All Part Of Broadway SD's 'The Fabulous Package' To Benefit The Center

A Nederlander Presentation, is teaming up with the Sofia Hotel to offer  “The Fabulous Package” – a special three show subscription package benefitting The San Diego LGBT Community Center (The Center).  Providing an unforgettable experience for LGBT theater lovers and the entire community, this exclusive package includes premiere seating to Thursday night performances of three Broadway/San Diego shows: Tuna Does Vegas on May 7, Dame Edna Live: My First Last Tour on June 4, and the critically acclaimed mega-musical Wicked on August 6.  The Fabulous Package also includes admission to an exclusive post-show cocktail party at the Currant Brasserie in the beautiful Sofia Hotel.

Tuna Does Vegas rolls into the Balboa Theatre May 5 – 9.  Starring the incomparable duo Joe Sears and Jaston Williams, Tuna Does Vegas re-unites the lovable and eccentric characters from the ‘third smallest town in Texas’ as they take a rambling romp in Sin City. The hilarity begins when oddball-conservative radio host Arles Struvie announces on air that he and his wife Bertha Bumiller are heading to Vegas to renew their wedding vows…but everyone in Tuna, Texas goes along for the ride! Written by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears and Ed Howard, Tuna Does Vegas features the favorite characters from the award-winning “Greater Tuna” with new characters too, all under the directorial hand of Mr. Howard.
