Mariah soared, boy bands strutted their stuff and high-energy music had us pumpin' up the jam across the dance floor. Come relive that megawatt decade with the San Diego Gay Men's Chorus (SDGMC) as they present Wow! The Chorus Sings the '90s. Tickets are now on sale for the April 5 and 6 shows at SDGMC.org.

"This show is amazingly fun! It's got everyone from Madonna to the Backstreet Boys to NSYNC," said Bob Lehman, SDGMC president. "Throw in some RuPaul and you can bet the wigs will be flying, the music exploding and dancers busting moves every which way!"

The 160 singers, led by artistic director RC Haus, will party like it's the 1990s with megahits from NSYNC, Destiny's Child, Seal, Christina Aguilera and Alanis Morissette. The show will also feature songs from the Broadway hit Rent and a hilarious take on the decade's favorite TV show, Friends.

Tickets are now available for the Saturday, April 5 show at 8 p.m. and the Sunday, April 6 show at 3 p.m. by calling the box office at (858) 362-1348 or at SDGMC.org. Tickets start at $27 and range to $70 for preferred VIP seating. A $3 discount is available for seniors, students and active-duty military. For groups of 10 or more, please call the box office. The Garfield Theatre is located at the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center, 4126 Executive Drive in La Jolla.

SDGMC has entertained San Diego audiences for nearly 30 years. With more than 200 singing and operations members, it is one of the largest gay choruses in the world. The group's official mission is to create a positive musical experience through exciting performances that engage audiences, build community support and provide a dynamic force for social change.
