Michael Holmes' THE JUDY SHOW! Comes to Martinis Above Fourth Table + Stage, 1/15

The spirit of Judy Garland is alive and well as Holmes impersonates Judy who, in her 1964 television variety show, played host to some of the greatest stars of Hollywood - also played by Holmes. The show, which plays regularly in Palm Springs and other venues to sold-out houses, is coming to Martinis Above Fourth Table + Stage in San Diego for one performance only on Thursday, January 15 at 8:00 PM.

This blend of hysterical comedy and outstanding music explodes into an evening of nonstop belly laughs, glamour and high camp, as celebrated entertainer Michael Holmes parodies Judy Garland in her 1964 TV variety show. With a killer wardrobe and razor-sharp wit, Holmes plays and nails them all, singing your favorite songs and thrilling the audience with charm, zingers and stories.

The Judy Show! is a comedy-studded night of glamorous guest stars that are always changing including Carol Channing, Mae West, Bette Davis, Billie Holiday, Katherine Hepburn, Pearl Bailey, Peggy Lee and Tallulah Bankhead (all performed by Holmes on stage). Singing many favorite standards including The Trolley Song, Hello Dolly, God Bless The Child, and Over the Rainbow, Holmes is accompanied on the piano by renowned Palm Springs' pianist Joel Baker.

Holmes has been producing and performing The Judy Show! for ten years, entertaining audiences from Maui to Manhattan, across the seas to Europe, and all with rave reviews! Prestigious venues and cities include The Queen Mary 2, Davenport's in Chicago, Rainbow Media in NYC, Devos Hall in Grand Rapids, University of Kentucky-Lexington, Indianapolis Roof Ballroom, Iao Theater in Maui, Boarshead Theater, Michigan Council for the Arts and many more.
