San Diego's newest theatre group Different Stages opens their second production of the the season with "The Dixie Swim Club" written by Jones, Hope and Wooten. Having just closed their season opener "Burn This" by Lanford Wilson this five woman comedy swims into The Hall at Swedenborg Church October 12 and playing through October 26.

The Dixie Swim Club" is an examination of the friendship of five Southern women over the course of several decades. Having bonded as members of a college swim team, they reconnect every August at a beachfront house in North Carolina's Outer Banks, where they spend their days and nights sharing conversation about marriage, divorce, sex, age, children along with hopes, concerns, apprehensions, doubts, disappointments and regrets. These ladies entertain themselves with topics ranging from multiple marriages to multiple cosmetic surgeries, to the lure of younger men, to the disastrous outcomes of unwise choices and unfortunate offspring. This sweet and very funny comedy features: Elouise Potomac, Dena Mattox, Milena Phillips, Dori Salois and Pati Reynolds. Produced and directed by Jerry Pilato with set design by Mark Robertson.
