Tom Hiddleston may be best known for his stage in OTHELLO and CORIOLANUS, or on the movie screen in THE AVENGERS, and the THOR movies, but with his current role as Dr. Robert Laing in the ambitious adaptation of the J.G. Ballard novel of the same name, he proves he is up for anything a role requires.

As Dr. Robert Laing, he is the newest resident of a luxurious apartment in a high-tech concrete skyscraper whose lofty location places him amongst the upper class. After quickly settling into the high society life the building provides, his character is soon introduced to the buildings list of eccentric residents. Sienna Miller is his upstairs neighbor and a bohemian single mother; Charlotte, Luke Evans and Elizabeth Moss are Wilder and Helen, a charismatic documentarian who lives with his pregnant wife; and Jeremy Irons as Mr. Royal, the enigmatic architect who designed the building. What first starts out as paradise starts to show some flaws as the social echelons start to crumble along with the building.

Tom also brings new meaning to full exposure in a role, with a scene where he meets his neighbors when he is not wearing any clothes. as Tom comments while it plays ""He's a great character and ... there he is with no clothes on," well payed marketing team!

Check out this clip from Collider to hear him and director Ben Wheatley talk about the process of making the film, as well as making that infamous scene!

Playing now RISE can be seen in theatres, on Demand, on Amazon Video and on iTunes.
