Salt Lake Comic Con (http://saltlakecomiccon.com/) announced today that legendary comic creator Stan Lee is coming back to Salt Lake Comic Con on September 4-6, 2014. Stan Lee Photo Ops and Autographs can be purchased in advance on SaltLakeComicCon.com as of Noon MDT tomorrow, August 15, 2014.

Lee's Super Hero characters, including Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk, X-Men, Thor, The Fantastic Four, Iron Man as well as hundreds of others, thrust Marvel to the top of the comic book industry which is now part of the Disney media powerhouse.

Lee is currently the Chairman and Chief Creative Officer of POW! Entertainment, a multimedia entertainment company based in Beverly Hills, CA. POW! has created numerous new characters and stories in areas including publishing, film, TV, reality, stage, documentary, and multimedia. He currently remains Chairman Emeritus of Marvel, as well as a member of the Editorial Board of Marvel Comics and is the most popular and famous comic creator in history.

"Stan was a fan favorite at our inaugural Salt Lake Comic Con last September and is sure to be enthusiastically welcomed back this year," said Dan Farr, Salt Lake Comic Con Founder and Show Producer. "Stan is really the 'King of the Comic Con circuit' and his presence at our event the last two years is a huge honor and is further proof that Salt Lake City is becoming one of the most important pop culture hotspots in the world."

Last September Lee was a last minute addition to the Salt Lake Comic Con celebrity guest list. He attended Saturday and was picked up on the airport tarmac by Utah Governor Gary R. Herbert and escorted into the Salt Palace by United States Air Force personnel.

"We had our fans vote for which alumni guest they most wanted to see return to Salt Lake Comic Con and Stan won by a margin of 2 to 1 over any other guest," said Bryan Brandenburg, Salt Lake Comic Con Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer. "So we're bringing him back this time for two days so he can have a better chance of meeting all the fans that want to meet the legend who is Stan Lee. It will be fun to see him interact with our other guests like Lou Ferrigno who Lee said was born to be the Hulk and Michael Rosenbaum who Lee said was the best Lex Luthor ever."
