Repertory Dance Theatre is proud to have Plan-B Theatre Company on the Ring Around the Rose stage on October 8, 2016 at 11 am.

Plan-B Theatre will present THE EDIBLE COMPLEX by Melissa Leilani Larson. THE EDIBLE COMPLEX is a comedy about ten-year-old Anna, who dreams of being a chef. She is also becoming aware of how her body is different from others at school. So, one day she decides to stop eating, but it's hard to ignore your food when it starts talking to you.

The show features actors Anne Louise Brings and Dee-Dee Darby-Duffin, is designed by Aaron Swenson, and is directed by Cheryl Ann Cluff. Audience members will watch with delight as the food around the protagonist comes alive to teach a lesson abouT Loving oneself in the face of multiple, conflicting messages regarding what society values when it comes to body shape and size.

After the performance, audience members will be invited to ask questions to the performers about the show and about acting in general.

The Ring Around the Rose performance will kick off Plan-B Theatre Company's free elementary school tour. For the past four years, Plan-B has provided a free assembly for schools across Utah each year.


RDT is thrilled to showcase these talented actors through the Ring Around the Rose series and give audiences the opportunity to experience this entertaining and thought-provoking show in an interactive and wiggle-friendly way.
