Melissa Leilani Larson makes her Plan-B debut with PILOT PROGRAM. Recent work includes a sold-out run of PRIDE AND PREJUDICE (commissioned by BYU); MARTYRS' CROSSING (IRAM Best New Play) debuting at the Edinburgh Fringe; and the feature film FREETOWN (in theaters April 2015). Other plays include LITTLE HAPPY SECRETS (Association for Mormon Letters Drama Award), A FLICKERING (Trustus Playwrights Festival Finalist), and STANDING STILL STANDING (Mayhew Award). Mel is a Dramatists Guild Ambassador for Utah. BA in English, BYU; MFA, Iowa Playwrights Workshop.

Featuring April Fossen, Mark Fossen and Susanna Florence Risser under the direction of Jerry Rapier, PILOT PROGRAM is called "A Supposition" by the playwright. As an active, single woman in the LDS church, Melissa asked herself what one thing would cause her to question her faith. Her answer: the restoration of polygamy. So she wrote a play about it.

What if you were called to serve in the restoration of polygamy? You could blog about it. PILOT PROGRAM is an intimate look at first love, second wives and last chances.
