Based on the novel "The Year The Yankees Lost The Pennant" by Douglass Wallop, Damn Yankees the Broadway mega-hit and winner of 7 Tony Awards including Best Musical is a modern retelling of the Faust legend set during the 1950s in Washington, D.C.

Middle-aged baseball fanatic Joe Boyd trades his soul to the Devil, also known as Mr. Applegate, for a chance to lead his favorite team to victory in the pennant race against the New York Yankees. As young baseball sensation Joe Hardy, he transforms the hapless Washington Senators into a winning team, only to realize the true worth of the life he's left behind.

David Morgan directs with David Smith as music director and Geoff Reynolds as choreographer. The design team includes Bobby Swenson (scenic design), MaryAnn Hill (costumes), Janna Larsen (hair & make-up), Cody Swenson (lighting) and Cody Hale (sound).

Tickets range in price from $17 - $22 each ($4 or $5 less for children). To order tickets visit the Hale Center Theater Orem Box Office, call 801-226-8600 or visit HaleTheater.org.
